Project 3 Horror Movie Poster Due March 31 by 11:59PMLately, television and movie-going audiences are seeing a resurgence of intelligent, creepy horror shows. From American Horror Story, to the Castle Rock, to Get Out, things that go bump in the night seem to be making a big comeback in the fantasy world of film and video.
You will create artwork for the promotion of a horror movie or TV series. You’ll start by creating an original title for your movie, or choose a horror movie that you like. The poster has to be original. Do not copy promotional graphics for an existing movie. Create a compelling picture that draws the eye. Generate eerie background and texture effects and seamlessly combine visual elements that are both spooky and believable and “over the top”. The poster’s specifications are: 11”X17” 300ppi Portrait orientation, RGB. Please submit your finished work as a Flattened High quality JPG.

Concentrate on good color relationships. Avoid making the image appear garish, splotchy or unfinished. Make accurate selections. Make sure adjacent colors are seamless.10. Save the full sized version of the document with the four images as a psd. Make a copy of the document and reduce the size so that all images fit on an 8.5x11 page.
